In the Netherlands, Foundation The Donkey Society in Zeist provides shelter and care to donkeys in need: sick, neglected, abused and elderly donkeys are accommodated in the shelter in Zeist, Bunnik or in foster homes spread over the Netherlands.
Visits are welcome, daily from 10 am to 4 pm (on Sundays from 11 am) to the Zwitsersekade in Zeist.
